History
St. Agnes Catholic Elementary School, founded in 1975, initially provided education from kindergarten through grade 9, maintaining high academic standards until the disruption caused by the Liberian civil war. After the war, the school was reestablished and supported by Most Rev. Anthony R. F. Borwah, Bishop of the Diocese of Gbarnga, who played a crucial role in its revival.
The school resumed its activities starting with kindergarten. Under the dedicated leadership of Rev. Fr. Eric Aka, SMA, six additional classrooms were built, allowing the school to expand its offerings up to grade 6. This expansion marked a significant milestone in the school's development, ensuring a broader educational foundation for its students.
Today, St. Agnes Catholic Elementary School celebrates a glorious past characterized by resilience and dedication to quality education. With a hopeful vision for the future, the school continues to provide a nurturing and academically stimulating environment for young learners, preparing them for further educational success and personal growth.
