The Teacher’s Duties in a Catholic Institution:

• Foster a loving and nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported in their personal and academic growth.
• Teach in ways that keep students connected with their Creator, fostering spiritual awareness alongside academic learning.
• Encourage positive relationships among students and with their neighbors, reflecting Christian values of community and love.

Finding Purpose in Teaching

I never imagined that one day I would stand before a classroom, inspiring young minds. My name is Kelvin S. K. Dolo Jr., a junior student at the University of Liberia, studying Secondary Education with an emphasis in Geography. By day, I am a Mathematics and Physical Education instructor at St. Joseph and Bishop Carroll. Teaching makes me feel proud—not just of myself, but also of my family and the community I serve. It challenges my thinking and helps me grow.
